The Dublin Adult Learning Centre's initial tutor training course is accredited by the Waterford Institute of Technology for the single module Adult Literacy Tuition 1. Tutors interested in accreditation for this module will need to:
- Complete the initial tutor training course and additional in-service training.
- Have worked with literacy students for a minimum of 25 hours.
- Submit three consecutive lesson plans and a written personal reflection.
